Updated Manufacture Return Guidelines - 2025

As auto manufacturers have become stricter on the type of part, packaging, and condition of the part in determining if the part is returnable, we have updated our policies to reflect those changes. The last thing we want is a customer to be stuck with a part that is not eligible for return if it can be avoided. We value our relationship with our customers and want to provide as much transparency and guidance as possible.

Pre-Inspection Required:

Check parts for fitment and damage before installation. Installed parts are not returnable.

Report Damages Within 1 Week:

Contact sales before attempting any repair.

Collision Parts “Clean Up Time”:

Must be pre-approved. Not available for outsourced parts.

Insurance Totals:

Most totals will acquire a restocking fee. Many insurance companies accept those restocking fees—please contact sales when an insurance job totals.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Opened electrical parts, kits, or other items labeled “non-returnable if opened”

  • Special ordered glass, frames, sectioning kits, or other oversized parts

  • Painted/prepped parts are not returnable

  • Discontinued parts

  • Outsourced parts

Special Order Parts:

  • Usually non-returnable, however, if returnable a 35% restocking fee applies

  • Orders often cannot be stopped once placed

Packaging Requirements:

  • Must be in original condition

  • No shredded/torn boxes, writing, tape, stickers, water damage, grease, oil, or paint overspray

  • Parts that need to be opened for inspection must be cleanly cut along tape lines. Please do not reseal packages

Core Returns:

  • Must include original packaging

  • Fluids must be drained

  • Core labels/stickers must be applied (GM fascias only)

Return Deadline:

Within 60 days of invoice date

Non-Compliant Returns:

Will be sent back to the customer
